If you have
a disability it is essential that any equipment you buy is carefully
chosen to match your physical needs and the circumstances in which
you will use it.
These factors
are particularly important when choosing a mobility vehicle. Like
most new subjects, there is more to it than meets the eye so we
help you make the right choice by discussing:
- You and how
it should fit you.
- Where and
how you want to use it.
- Whether or
how you want to transport it.
- Where to
keep it and how to get it there
then we:
- show you
and explain the alternatives
- try out the
more suitable vehicles with you
- give a full
home demonstration of one or more vehicles and advise on the most
suitable for you.
There is no
charge for this assessment and no obligation.
If our equipment
is not suitable for you we will say so. We will only supply vehicles
which we feel are safe and suitable for you.
We keep an unusually-large
selection of vehicles from the best, predominantly British, manufacturers.
We will gladly work with your occupational therapist or physiotherapist.
We will ask
you what you want and how you want to sit. We will ask you to
try some. If appropriate, we will recommend alternative dimensions
or chairs. Then, after choosing a fabric, we will have a chair
made for you.
Most people
find a single-motor rise/recline chair better and simpler to use.
We also have dual-motor chairs for those who prefer them.
We can advise.
If we know the problem we will help to solve it.
